The beginning of the Pandemic gave me the opportunity follow my passion into a Tech career with learning web development and associated skills. A naturally inquisitive person who has always loved computers since my first PC a Compaq 386DX with Windows 3.1.
In my previous role as an Estimating Manager I gained and enhanced many characteristics and soft skills over my sixteen years committed to the same company. Leading a crucial department and being a company board member which helps set me apart from others...
...and yes, I now also what I love working in web development and coding with an enhanced passion for Accessibility. My skills relate to Responsive web development with core HTML, CSS & JavaScript. Version control with Git through GitHub utilising Linux terminal where possible. Coding new projects or contributing to open source elements using VSCode. Deploying sites direct to Netlify or GitHub Pages directing through GitHub. See my Toolkit which is shown later.

This project is a demonstration of responsive wed design utilising HTML, CSS and Javascript.
This was then deployed to Netlify through my GitHub repositories.

Whilst rectifying an issue from GitHub about hidden buttons behind header. Noticed many HTML syntax errors and lacking accessibility. Fixed the errors, improved accessibility, syntax and increased SEO visibility. Incorperated into master branch through an approved pull request.

This was the first web page that I made. A David Bowie tribute page. I love to see how much improvement I have made in my skills since I made this site such as this Portfolio site.

This was a survey form that I produced which included for various input methods and display elements from the user with a submission button at the end.

This was a project I had to complete independently for a class. Produced a Technical Document style page although I liked the idea of using it in a different context. Therefore this is a recipe page with full NavBar links to each section and an easy to read layout.
